Any person who fulfils the following conditions may run for a public office with special status in the Customs Service:
- holds the citizenship of the Republic of Moldova and has residence in the country;
- has reached the age of 18;
- is fluent in the official language;
- has not reached the retirement age;
- holds a degree of higher education;
- is medically fit to perform the duties;
- has no criminal record, is not under criminal investigation and has not been granted pardon;
- meets the specific conditions of the job;
- has not, in the last 5 years, been dismissed from a public office or from a public office with special status for violating the work discipline;
- was not dismissed from the Customs Service for illegal acts that discredit the status of customs official;
- is not deprived, by a final court decision, of the right to hold certain positions or to exercise certain activities.
- is not prohibited from holding a public office or a senior public office, based on an act issued by the National Integrity Authority.
Depending on the specific requirements of the professional activity for which the positions are put up for competition, specific recruitment criteria can be established, in compliance with the conditions and criteria provided by the regulations in force.
Such conditions, along with all information regarding the selection tests, test topics, references, as well as timeframe of the competition, will be included in the advertisements on the competitions to be organized.
